Children are ideal soldiers, they are cheap, easy to form and disposable. In countries like D R Congo, disarming the rebel fighters is crucial for ending the civil war. There are more than 7000 child soldiers in Congo and BVES works in liberating them, reintegrating them socially and educating them to a full life.
Besides these there are children living in the streets, young victims of rape, teen mothers and orphans. BVES has a wide program that has helped over 100.000 children to a better life.
The kids need food, clothes, shelter and education
Among the challenges are practical things like food, civilian clothes, shelter and eduction. Help donate for these basic needs.
